52 Week Money Saving Challenge

30 Day Challenge

 

 

I am participating in another one of Money Saving Mom's 30 Day Challenges! I love these as they help me get way more organized... I didn't write about yesterdays task however I did complete it by cleaning out my purse!

So today's challenge is this (shared from Money Saving Mom's Post)

Day 2 Assignment

::Get dressed in something that makes you feel great {there’s something about dressing in clothes that make you feel great that just gives you more energy and zest for life!}

::Sit down with a cup of coffee or tea, refer to your list of weekly goals, and make a list of no more than 5-7 specific things you want to accomplish today.

::Set the timer for 10 minutes and do a quick-clean of your kitchen: wash the dishes/load the dishwasher, clear off the counter tops, and, if you have time, wipe down the counter tops and the outside of the cupboards with wet rag or cleaning cloth.

::Set the timer for 10 minutes and do a quick clean of your refrigerator. Remove all the contents that are past their prime, wipe down the sticky spots, and re-organize things so they are easier to get to. If you have more time, there’s a step-by-step guide for cleaning out your refrigerator here.

So how did I do today... 

We have 2 refrigerators so I did both of them in about 15 minutes!

They both look a lot better and now I just have to get those containers washed! LOL, as for getting up early and making my list it didn't happen today but tomorrow is a new day and I will be up early!

Spring Cleaning Challenge Day 22&23

Ok been doing some stuff around the house like cleaning carpet so here are the latest pictures of what I got rid of!


Old worn out bras were replaced with nice new ones that I got for free with the gift cards I earn on Swagbucks! Gotta love amazon... If interested in Swagbucks use this link to sign up!  Also the book is a great read, cross between Gray's Anatomy and CSI

I found more of those placemats and a window treament and some cloth napkins once again none of it matches my house so off to charity!

So as this goes on I am running out of things to get rid off I will have to start looking in new places! I know there are some closets that need attention...

Hey y'all sorry that these are once again going up late, I am working on getting things in a better order around here with changing hours for both of us!  

All of this came out from under the kitchen sink! I am using vinegar water to clean surfaces and ammonia as glass cleaner now so all of this will go bye bye, however I still need to find a more natural carpet cleaner!

So things got really CRAZY around here, I am so sorry I haven't posted in a few days but here they are ...

Ok so here are my 5 things for the day, I worked on the master closet today and found some odds and ends in a storage container that are shown here in the little blue tub, some old slippers that are shot, jeans with a hole in the crotch, and a pencil bag.

Most of that went in the garbage...

Spring Cleaning Challenge Day 6

So I finished cleaning out the drawers and tub of hair accessories in the master bath today this is all that I found that needs to go bye bye!

Sandra H. moved on to cleaning out items from under her bathroom sink and found the items pictured above, the animals had been under there for 3 years.
 

When cleaning out items in the bathroom don't forget to check expiration dates as well!!!
